Self-Study Materials for Educators

Welcome!

Self-study materials were developed to help educators implement Read It Again-PreK! more effectively. The workbook and complementary DVD contain twelve sessions designed to further educators' knowledge of children's early foundations by targeting four key areas of language and literacy: narrative, print knowledge, vocabulary, and phonological awareness.

These resources, which are meant to be used simultaneous to the Read It Again-PreK! curricular supplement, provide additional opportunities for you to observe teachers implementing Read It Again-PreK! lessons and to reflect on how you might use Read It Again-PreK! activities in order to effectively support and strengthen children's language and literacy skills. In the first four sessions, you will learn more about the target domains and objectives of Read It Again-PreK!, including narrative, print knowledge, vocabulary, and phonological awareness. In sessions 5 through 12 you will learn how to maximize engagement and achievement while implementing Read It Again-PreK! lessons with the diverse group of learners in your classroom or clinic.

The content of the Read It Again-PreK! workbook and DVD are available on this site. To be able to access these self-study materials, sessions 1 through 12, you first need to Login
